Overview
The role of the Copywriter / Graphic Designer (60/40) is essential for developing engaging and persuasive content for various marketing materials, including social media posts, email campaigns, blogs, white papers, website, and event collateral. They are expected to collaborate with the marketing team, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and strategy alignment. Additionally, they will assist the design team in the creation and development of marketing materials, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing presentation while contributing to product marketing and brand strategy. This position exists to optimize digital assets and content for search engines, applying SEO best practices to enhance visibility and ranking.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop engaging and persuasive content for various marketing materials: Create content for social media posts, email campaigns, blogs, white papers, website, and event collateral to drive engagement and conversion.
Collaborate with the marketing team, product managers, and other stakeholders: Understand project requirements and strategy alignment to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
Optimize digital assets and content for search engines: Apply SEO & AISO best practices to enhance visibility and ranking of digital content.
Assist in the design and layout of marketing materials: Ensure a cohesive and visually appealing presentation that aligns with brand identity and enhances user experience.
Contribute to brand development efforts: Maintain and evolve brand identity across all visual touchpoints to strengthen brand recognition and loyalty.
Analyze marketing performance: Measure the success of creative campaigns and related strategies to inform future marketing efforts.
Conduct research to understand target audiences: Tailor copy to resonate with target audiences and improve engagement.
Edit and proofread copy: Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials.
Education and Experience:
Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Area of Study: Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications
Minimum Years of Experience: 3
Type of Experience: Proven experience in copywriting and design: Demonstrated ability to create engaging and persuasive content that drives engagement and conversion while maintaining brand identity
Special Certifications: Courses or Certifications in SEO and Digital Marketing would be a plus. However, proven current understanding of SEO and AISO best practices and digital marketing strategies is enough as this is crucial for the role.
Technical Competencies & Information Systems:
Proven experience in copywriting and design.
Strong understanding of brand identity and marketing principles.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, WordPress, Elementor Pro & SEM Rush.
Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams & SharePoint.
Understanding of SEO best practices and marketing analytics.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $65,700/year to $102,650/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
