Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$111,600.00 - $184,200.00

What Is the Opportunity?

Our Content Marketing Team is comprised of creative, out-of-the-box thinkers and high-energy storytellers that bring our content strategy to life. As a Director, Content Marketing, you will lead the development strategy, research, planning, performance and optimization of content within assigned business area(s). You will collaborate with and influence business partners to understand goals in order to design a content marketing strategy to meet their business goals.

What Will You Do?

Manage the development and delivery of content strategies for content marketing initiatives across different mediums and channels for assigned business area(s).

Collaborate and influence marketing partners to ensure content aligns to business goals and strategies and delivers on their objectives.

Manage writers, editors, and designers to create compelling content.

Develop content inclusive of articles, landing pages, infographics, videos, webinars, podcasts, and long-form written content. May review and refine content developed by team members.

Utilize a wide array of content and SEO tools. Ensure content produced is optimized for search. Stay abreast of cutting-edge technology and makes recommendations on potential enhancements.

Ensure compliance with established brand standards and techniques consistent with marketing objectives and recommend adjustments to maintain relevancy.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field.

Five to eight years of content and digital marketing experience.

Experience content development, copy, production and media planning functions and the ability to integrate and coordinate internal and external resources.

Advanced knowledge of content marketing strategy and SEO best practices.

Deep understanding of insurance industry, company product/services and marketing strategies to develop company digital channel content and maximize traffic to sites.

Advanced ability to think strategically, creatively and outside the box in developing designs for marketing efforts.

Advanced project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Analytics, data visualization, and problem-solving skills.

What is a Must Have?

Seven years of professional work experience in a marketing related field.
