Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Associate - Entry-Level in the below posting location. In this role you will work with experienced engineers on site development, storm sewer/drainage design, grading, permitting, cost estimating, water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems.

Posting Location for this role: Champaign, IL

Job Activities:

Water distribution and sewer collection systems design

Storm water management and collection system layout and design

Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines and client consultants

Construction observation / resident engineering

Prepare permitting applications for various state and local agencies

Specific Requirements include:

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum

0-3 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of civil engineering projects

Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, required

Stormwater Modeling experience, preferred

Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam

Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills

Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or on track to obtain license desired

Salary Range: $66,000 - $80,000 annually (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
