Description We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Sacramento, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the non-profit sector, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on organizational success through effective HR practices. The role requires a strong background in employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

Administer benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, updates, and communication with employees.

Oversee leave management processes, including FMLA and other statutory requirements.

Utilize ADP Workforce Now to maintain and manage employee records, payroll, and reporting.

Provide guidance to managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote skill development and organizational growth.

Collaborate with leadership to address workforce planning and organizational development needs.

Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.

Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews, onboarding, and new employee orientations. Requirements - Proven experience as an HR Generalist, with a strong understanding of HR functions and processes.

Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll and HR data management.

Extensive knowledge of benefits administration and compliance requirements.

Familiarity with FMLA and other leave management policies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.

Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
