For over 60 years, the FBM team has supported the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic deterrence.

In this role you will support the FBM Support Equipment Logistics and Material Planning team by establishing new material records, updating records, and ensuring data integrity within SSP Advanced Inventory and Logistics (SAIL), the US Navy logistics management data system. Provide technical support to all Inventory Managers and various Navy stakeholders. This position will require daily communication with our Navy Partners, Material Planning, Subcontracts, Control Account Managers, and many additional organizations, which will provide opportunities for you to develop creative solutions to complex issues.

What will a typical day in this role involve? In this role you will...

Create, update, and maintain material records in SAIL database.

Interface daily with internal and external customers to resolve problems related to material number, nomenclature, source of supply, and more.

Provided the SAIL user community with technical support.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education (such as Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain)Entry level.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products (ex. Access, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Experience with SAP or other comparable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool.

Strong interpersonal skills, and be able to operate in a fast paced, team-based environment.

Should be able to operate independently with little supervision after training.

Attention to detail.

Problem solving skills.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
