Raw Material Planner

JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for an experienced Raw Material Planner to join our Industrial Segment USCA supply chain team in our Oak Creek Wisconsin facility. The primary goal for the Raw Material Planner is to bring in the right product inventory levels at the right time to support production schedule needs while achieving working capital targets. Raw Materials planner will focus on the procurement and inventory management of raw materials, and vendor relationship management. Partnering with cross-functional teams will be critical to ensure daily and weekly supply chain operations KPI\'s and metrics are achieved. This a key role within the PPG supply chain and will have an impact to the Oak Creek plant performance and overall customer satisfaction. You will report to the Raw material planner Manager and work onsite in Oak Creek Wisconsin. Main responsibilities: Place purchase orders with vendors and track delivers throughout the ordering cycle and evaluate inventory projections over a rolling 12-month period. Analyze MRP and/or action messages for procurement of supply chain requirements with the focus being short to medium term (1 to 6 months). Communicate and escalate any supply concerns and collaborate with supply chain operations teams, and/or procurement from discovery through resolution. Ensure the availability of raw materials to meet Oracle timing requirements and adhere to the short-term weekly production schedule needs by anticipating and mitigating any raw material delays. Work with the warehouse, purchasing, or supplier quality teams to resolve receipt and/or invoicing related problems or incoming RM quality issues. Maintain assigned raw material items inventory health to achieve goals.
