To succeed as an Administrative Assistant II at The Resource Connection, you will need a robust set of skills and experience. Your ability to plan, organize, manage, and perform administrative functions efficiently is paramount in our fast-paced environment. Proficiency in handling highly confidential information, along with the capability to gather, organize, analyze, and present diverse data, will be key to your success. You will be expected to perform simple mathematical calculations and prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact effectively with both staff and community members while addressing questions and requests.
Familiarity with a VOIP, multi-line phone system is required for managing incoming calls. A high school diploma (or equivalent) is necessary, along with an Administrative Assistant Certificate, a minimum of two years of business office experience, and preferred experience in Early Childhood Education. A valid California Driver's License and willingness to work irregular hours is also essential.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Plan, organize and manage and perform administrative functions
Efficiently perform highly confidential and responsible secretarial functions
Gather, organize, analyze and present a variety of data and information
Perform simple mathematical calculations
Prepare clear and concise and accurate reports and records
Communicate effectively with staff and with members of the community when providing information by answering questions and requests.
Manage incoming calls on a VOIP multi-line phone system.
