Position Overview

We are seeking a well-rounded Construction Worker who is proficient in carpentry, concrete finishing, and general construction tasks . The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team on a variety of job sites.

Key Responsibilities

Carpentry:

Frame walls, roofs, and floors using wood or metal studs

Install doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Concrete Finishing:

Pour, level, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and curbs

Operate power trowels, screeds, and other finishing tools

Apply curing and sealing compounds

General Construction:

Assist with demolition, site prep, and cleanup

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Load/unload materials and maintain a clean work environment

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in construction, with proven skills in carpentry and concrete work

Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards

Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed

Preferred Skills

Experience with formwork and rebar installation

Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is a plus

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

Certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR) are highly desirable

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
