About the Team
Oracle?NetSuite's Data Science group empowers internal stakeholders-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and more-by turning raw ERP and CRM data into actionable intelligence. We leverage the Domo platform for data ingestion and transformation, and Python for advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI initiatives.
Role Overview
As a Data Scientist at Oracle?NetSuite, you will:
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to identify key metrics, design experiments, and prioritize analytics projects
Architect and maintain Domo dataflows to unify data from NetSuite ERP, CRM, and third-party sources
Develop Python scripts and workflows for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and visualization
Proto@type, validate, and productionize machine learning models (e.g., lead scoring, churn prediction, customer segmentation)
Communicate findings via dashboards and reports, enabling business users to make data-driven decisions
Key Responsibilities
Domo Data Engineering : Build and optimize dataflows in Domo - including ETL logic, data joins, transformations, and scheduling - to feed dashboards and downstream analytics
Python Analytics & ML : Write clean, reusable Python code for exploratory data analysis, statistical testing, and model development using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch
Model Validation & Deployment : Apply best practices for cross-validation (including time-series splits), performance monitoring, and version control; collaborate with IT/DevOps to deploy models where needed
Dashboarding & Visualization : Design intuitive Domo cards and dashboards that surface insights to sales reps, marketers, and executive leadership
Stakeholder Engagement : Translate complex data analyses into clear, actionable recommendations; present results to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
Proven experience creating and maintaining Domo dataflows, coupled with strong SQL skills
Proficiency in Python and core analytics/ML libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
Solid understanding of statistical methods, A/B testing, and data visualization best practices
Excellent communication skills and a consultative mindset when working with business partners
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with advanced ML and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
Background in CRM/ERP data structures, Salesforce, or NetSuite experience
Knowledge of marketing automation tools and sales enablement platforms
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and data integration techniques

US: Hiring Range in USD from $27.07 to $54.13 per hour; from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
