Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (In-Office Only)

Assignment Type: Long term assignment-Possible permanent placement for the right candidate

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:

We're seeking a reliable , detail-oriented, and service-driven Entry-Level Section 8 Housing Case Worker to join our team in New Haven, CT. In this full-time, in-office role, you'll help individuals and families access and maintain affordable housing. If you're a quick learner with excellent people skills and a strong attendance record, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with applications and documentation for housing assistance

Determine eligibility and ensure compliance

Coordinate with landlords, tenants, and property managers on lease matters

Support tenants in maintaining program requirements and stable housing

Maintain accurate records, manage case files, and update databases

Respond promptly and professionally to calls, emails, and walk-ins

Thrive in a fast-paced office setting requiring multitasking and focus

Qualifications:

Strong attendance and punctuality required - reliability is a must!

Customer service experience required; call center experience a plus

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in human services or related field a plus

Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
