Position Summary
Lead the Manufacturing Analytics team for Cell Therapy Technical Operations (CTTO) in Cell Therapy Development & Operations (CTDO). Develop and advance strategies that drive improved effectiveness and efficiency across the commercial Cell Therapy manufacturing network, including DP & Vector sites. Partner across the network analytics community to develop and implement digital technology solutions and advanced analytics for the manufacturing network, to benefit network performance, strategy, and decision making. The incumbent will effectively partner with Business Information & Technology (BI&T), CTTO & Site MSAT teams, Manufacturing Operations, and Strategy and Business Excellence (SBE) organizations to ensure enterprise-wide solutions and standardization across CTO.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the operational head of Manufacturing Analytics. Deliver the following solutions and services to CT commercial manufacturing, in partnership with BI&T:
Statistical Process Control (SPC) solutions as well as Dashboards and visual reporting frameworks to efficiently and autonomously monitor performance of processes and operations.
Models and analytic tools to maximize plant and equipment effectiveness and enable the pursuit of COGm reduction.
Governance and escalation forums to track performance of the network analytics team.
Partner with manufacturing site teams to build and integrate analytics tools into business processes. Work with network teams to leverage and re-use analytics effectively across the enterprise.
Lead network governance forums to provide prioritization and monitoring of deployment of new analytics across the CT commercial manufacturing network. Facilitate collection of business requirements and create implementation roadmaps for prioritized solutions.
Partner with BI&T to develop and advance strategies for the sustainable growth and ongoing support of the manufacturing analytics ecosystem.
Interface with other functions within CTO to define manufacturing digitization data requirements and develop standardized data hierarchies and pipelines to support business needs.
Maintain awareness of external trends and represent BMS at industry forums.

Qualifications &Experiences Required
Bachelor's Degree in technical field (engineering, science or related discipline) is required (Advanced degree (MS or PhD) preferred)
14 years+ relevant industry experience, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry
8 years+ experience in leadership roles supporting GxP operations; previous people management experience preferred
Knowledge of the modern data science stack; experience building data pipelines and models
Demonstrated acumen leading within heavily matrixed and global environments
Demonstrated interest and ability to learn across several disciplines (e.g. operations, quality, development, information technology) to optimize solutions delivered
Thorough understanding of the requirements surrounding innovation and change management within a GMP operational environment
Strong business acumen and strategic vision
Skilled people manager and strong track record of talent development
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $189,000 - $236,000,
plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.
