Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced interim Sr. Accountant to support our client in the manufacturing space. This role offers the opportunity to support accounting functions across multiple areas, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. If you have strong expertise in accounting practices and advanced Excel skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Assist with journal entries, prepaid expenses, and intercompany transactions to ensure accurate financial records.

Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, to maintain financial accuracy.

Support month-end closing activities by completing assigned tasks and adhering to the established checklist.

Handle capital expenditures, banking processes, and inventory management

Prepare and analyze ad hoc financial reports to support decision-making processes.

Collaborate with team members to manage accounting functions

Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to organize, analyze, and interpret data across complex spreadsheets.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all assigned tasks.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of general ledger and journal entries.

Proficiency in performing account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes and capital asset accounting.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with multi-tab spreadsheets and data analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex financial data.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage responsibilities for multiple entities.

Familiarity with inventory management and banking processes is a plus.
