Retail Associate to join theteam!Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the worldand after a$400M renovation (https://www.costar.com/article/749120602/blackstone-completes-400-million-expansion-at-iconic-san-diego-hotel)and expansion,the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750rooms,cottagesand villas with65,000 square feetof banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars,afood truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification:? Seasonal

Shift: Various - must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.(Seasonal will run from May to Labor Day weekend. There may be a possibility to extend to Part-Time/Full-Time after the season ends.)

Pay Rate:? The pay rate for this role is $18.92and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Seasonal Retail Associate, you would be responsible for assisting guests and selling merchandise in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival in the shop

Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise, styling and pricing

Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards

Wrap merchandise and pack orders for shipping

Assist in conducting inventory and ensure adequate merchandise supply levels

Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
