The iconic Hotel del Coronado?is looking for a Seasonal Storeroom / Receiving Clerk (Purchasing) to join their amazing team!

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification: Seasonal (May to September)

Shift: AM Shift - weekends and holidays availability required.

Pay Rate : $19.60 per hour

What will I be doing?

Receives and places products in their assigned storeroom location in an organized manner.

Checks items received against purchase orders to verify accuracy of the order.

Rotates perishable stock so that all food items are fresh.

Issues and delivers products from the Storeroom to Departments. *Check each item on the requisitions which may involve weighing, counting, verifying each item and checking them against specifications to verify accuracy and approvals for the order

Conducts inventories as directed. Ensure all food, beverage and general merchandise items are listed on inventory lists.

Qualifications:

Be able to lift 50 lbs and stand during shift

Experience in related fields

High school level education or equal

Must have some knowledge of food, beverage

Basic mathematical and computer skills to track and receive volumes of deliveries. ‰

Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently in order to complete forms, inventories, read billings, invoices and communicate with co-workers and purveyors.

Office machines: operate calculator/10-key, copier, fax, telephone.

Work in face pace environment
