Construction Project Manager

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking to hire an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

· Monitor projects from start to finish, ensuring it stays on track and align with the company goals.

· Review and manage contracts with architects, contractors, and other parties, ensuring all agreements are properly executed.

· Track costs, review invoices, negotiate prices, and approve payments to keep the project within budget.

· Work closely with General Contractors, architects, engineers, etc. to ensure project timeline is followed and proactively address any delays.

· Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure all work meets the required standards.

· Act as a liaison between the client, architects, and contractors to ensure effective communication.

· Identify and mitigate risks to prevent issues from derailing the project. Ensure the project complies with all relevant building codes, regulations, and permits.

· Manage changes in the projects scope, budget, or timeline and seek proper approvals.

· Resolve conflicts quickly to maintain project harmony.

· Keep track of permits, change orders, and other relevant documents.

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field

· 7+ years of experience in construction management.

· 5-7 years of experience managing multimillion-dollar projects from inception to completion.

· Have a thorough understanding of all facets of design and construction projects including budgeting, permitting, consultant proposals, GC contracts, and scheduling to ensure cohesive project management and risk management.

· Establish and vigilantly maintain an all-inclusive project budget and schedule.

· Experience analyzing, negotiating, and executing contracts with precision and strategic foresight. Experience in CPG, Food Manufacturing environments

Preference for certifications in CCM or PMP, or the willingness to obtain when you join the organization. null
