Description We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Montville, New Jersey. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and stability. The role requires dedication to maintaining financial accuracy and supporting various accounting operations in a detail-oriented and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process billing transactions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

Manage cash flow activities, including deposits, payments, and reconciliations.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.

Conduct detailed data analysis to identify discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.

Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals and deadlines.

Perform account reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including payment tracking and collections.

Input financial data accurately into systems and maintain organized records.

Process invoices efficiently while adhering to company policies and standards.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial tracking. Requirements - Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Proficiency in billing and invoice processing.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resolving client inquiries.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
