Description

We are looking for a seasoned Property Administrator to work in Novato, CA. Apply today if you have previous Property Management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lease Management:

Administering lease agreements by maintaining accurate records and monitoring expiration dates.

Assisting in lease renewals and ensuring compliance with contract terms.

Tenant Relations:

Acting as the primary point of contact for tenants to address inquiries, concerns, or requests.

Coordinating responses to tenant issues, including maintenance requests and complaints.

Administrative Duties:

Managing property files, contracts, and reports.

Preparing budgets, property expense reports, and other financial documentation.

Handling correspondence between property managers, tenants, and contractors.

Maintenance Coordination:

Scheduling and tracking property repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections.

Liaising with vendors and contractors to ensure timely service delivery.

Financial Tasks:

Processing rent payments, invoices, and utility bills.

Monitoring accounts receivable and resolving payment discrepancies.

Compliance:

Ensuring the property adheres to local, state, and federal regulations.

Assisting with permits and ensuring a safe environment for tenants and visitors.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

Required Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI).

Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge.

HUD Experience

Preferred Background:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

Previous experience in property management, administration, or real estate.

Familiarity with leasing laws and real estate terminology.
