The Identity, Credential, Access Management (ICAM) Analyst supports security functions associated with the administration of identity and access management across the enterprise. Incumbent will process user requests received via Enterprise Service Desk for access to tools and services managed by the ICAM team. Additionally, the role collaborates across all MNIT divisions and Executive Branch stakeholders to document, analyze, review, and recommend process updates related to access, authentication, and authorization requirements to ensure compliance with IAM policy and standards. This position will research, draft and circulate updates, modifications and new standards and guidelines to support ICAM and provide a standard platform to issue and manage digital identities across the enterprise.
This position requires an employee to be onsite in St Paul, at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.

Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of IT related experience in an information security role.
Experience must include:
Experienced withconductingtechnicalanalysisbasedonidentityandaccessrequirementsusingAD,AAD,andvarious identity management and governance tools.
Experience recommending corrective action based on analysis.
Experienced in drafting organizational standards, guidelines, and process documentation based on interviews and information provided by stakeholders across the agency.
Must have an active entry level cybersecurity certification e.g. CompTIA Security+ ISC2 CC, Microsoft SC-900 or equivalent.
Abilitytoeffectivelyworkdirectlywithcustomerstoidentify,define,validate,andprioritizeuserneedsandrequirements.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both in writing and orally.
Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
A master's degree in Information Technology or a related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR a related bachelor's degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR a related associate's degree substitutes for one (1) year.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to think creatively to identify gaps in processes and document potential risks created by these gaps.
Abilitytoorganizeandprioritizemultiple deadlines and work independently, define problems as they arise, and recommend alternative solutions.
Advanced understanding of identity and access concepts.
Knowledge of risk management process (e.g., methods for assessing mitigating risk).
Ability to accurately document and assist in conduction fact-based troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems and document identified issues and incidents in collaboration with engineers and managers.
Intermediate cybersecurity certification e.g. ISACA CGEIT, ISC2 CCSP, IMI CIPA or equivalent.
