About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial System Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing financial systems to improve efficiency and support business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, systems integration, and project management. The Sr Financial System Consultant will also provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting complex issues and providing guidance during financial month-end close on the use of CBRE financial Consolidation and Reporting Application (OneStream).
What You'll Do:
Analyze and Evaluate Financial Systems
Evaluate the existing application and processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes or enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Support application change and enhancement. Conduct detailed analysis to understand business reporting requirements and system capabilities
Design and Implement Financial Solutions
Design, develop and implement new financial solutions to support corporate and regional financial consolidation and reporting.
Guide and implement mid- to large-system migrations, new function implementations, and system upgrades.
Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes
Support Month End Close and Financial Reporting
Provide technical support to OneStream end users during month-end close and trouble shoot complex issues
Develop and maintain financial reports using OneStream CubeViews, QuickViews and other reporting tools.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and accounting stakeholders, project managers, and application developers to ensure that the financial reporting application and processes are developed and maintained according to project timelines, budgets, and requirements.
Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams
Provide Training and Support
Train end-users on the use of OneStream, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the software for financial reporting and analysis.
Prepare and maintain user documentation and training materials.
Develop user guides and documentation to assist with new system and process adoption
Monitor System Performance
Continuously monitor the performance of OneStream application to ensure optimal functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise to maintain system efficiency
Develop and Maintain Documentation
Create and update documentation for OneStream configuration, processes, and user guides
Ensure administration documentation is comprehensive and accessible for future reference
Align with SOX Compliance and Regulation
Ensure that all changes are transparent and properly disclosed in accordance with SOX regulatory guidelines.
Work closely with internal and external auditors and provide evidence and any walk-through for SOX requirements
Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends
Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve OneStream reporting
Implement innovative solutions to enhance OneStream performance and business outcomes

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in IT, Finance, or a related field of study.
8-10 years' experience in financial systems or a related field. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Extensive experience with OneStream and/or Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
Strong functional expertise in Finance and Accounting.
Familiarity or hands-on experience with financial software such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems.
Experience with system integration and implementation is highly desirable.
Knowledge of SOX compliance and regulations related to SEC financial Reporting.
Proficiency in Visual Basic and SQL coding preferred.
OneStream and/or Oracle Hyperion Financial Management Certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to lead and manage project teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
