Key job responsibilities
Being a FPA lead for Device Manufacturing & Logistics Finance - an expert matter of device operations financials to support informed business decisions across the organization
Leading device operations financial review process for month ends, forecasts, and annual operating plans with senior leadership
Manage the DPO (Device Postponement Operations) business as a finance key stakeholder by leading business/finance review meetings, managing budgets and providing operational strategy support
Building financial models, presenting analyses and recommendations to senior leadership
Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support the business
Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
Partnering across the finance organization to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance
Developing, maintaining, and tracking key operations metrics
Producing ad-hoc analyses and assisting in various projects
Driving automation of reporting and analytics to improve the efficiency

This role requires an intellectually curious individual who can frame situations through multiple lenses. They are a self-starter with a keen attention to detail and an ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have shown success in influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon including international entities and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
