We are seeking a Sr Field Supervisor to join our team in our Mount Vernon, WA office. In this role, you will oversee daily operations and field teams for aerial and underground fiber optic construction projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across multiple job sites. This role is responsible for coordinating logistics, mentoring field personnel, enforcing safety standards, and driving performance to meet project and company goals.

The Role
Oversee daily operations for aerial and underground fiber construction related to FTTH, FTTx, feeder, distribution, and middle-mile segments
Manage multiple crews, job sites, and outside plant (OSP) telecom projects including pole transfers, strand placement, over lash, splicing, cable installation, and fiber testing
Coordinate logistics, scheduling, equipment, and workforce allocation to ensure timely and efficient project execution
Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship on aerial and underground construction, including maintenance, installations, and as-builts
Conduct field inspections, productivity assessments, and performance reviews to improve crew efficiency, quality, and compliance
Lead and mentor Field Supervisors, Foremen, and field employees through coaching, training, and performance evaluations
Ensure job site safety compliance, promote safety awareness, and enforce regulations across all projects
Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure satisfaction and resolve field challenges
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and implementation of tracking systems to monitor productivity, fleet, and tool management
Promote a culture of integrity and accountability aligned with Company Values
Provide quality internal and external customer service
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
5+ years of OSP field supervision in telecom construction, preferably in fiber optic builds, with demonstrated success in managing multiple crews and projects
Deep knowledge of outside plant (OSP) telecom construction practices including FTTH, FTTx, feeder, distribution, and middle-mile network segments
Requires deep knowledge of construction practices and safety protocols
Proficiency with industry software and Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to train and lead teams under challenging conditions
Experience working with subcontractors and interpreting utility construction contracts
Experience with machine and equipment operation with adherence to safety protocols
Able to perform duties in telecommunications construction such as: pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction
Must demonstrate competency in reading and written communication skills sufficient to work safely with equipment and process requirements
Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds), and to climb poles or other structures as needed
Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time, year round

Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment, and tools
Ability to work in noise levels from moderate to loud
Exposure to outdoor all-weather conditions with limited protection from elements, including high heat, wind, and rain
Exposure to hazards in worksite conditions such as proximity to operating equipment, moving vehicles, underground utilities (gas and electrical), and excavating/shoring activities
Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver's license is required if the role involves driving
