On of our clients in Santa Rosa needs AR assistance. If you have prior AR experience, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoicing and Billing:

Generate and distribute customer invoices in an accurate and timely manner.

Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies.

Payment Collection:

Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.

Follow up with customers via email, calls, or other forms of communication to secure payments.

Process incoming payments (e.g., checks, electronic transfers, credit cards) and apply them to the respective accounts.

Account Reconciliation:

Maintain and reconcile customer accounts by investigating payment discrepancies.

Identify and resolve outstanding account balances to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular accounts receivable aging reports.

Provide weekly/monthly status updates to management regarding collection efforts and outstanding accounts.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts receivable transactions.

Customer Support:

Address and resolve client inquiries regarding billing, payments, or discrepancies.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage prompt payment.

Compliance and Process Improvement:

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.

Contribute to improving AR processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or accounting systems.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle customer interactions professionally.

Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
