Job Title: Electrical Helper

Job Description

Join our team to assist electricians by performing duties such as using, supplying, or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment. You will be involved in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings in accordance with NEC/NFPA 70E standards and job specifications.

Responsibilities

Assist electricians with electrical wiring and installation tasks.

Supply or hold materials and tools for electricians.

Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.

Document reports from different job sites.

Assist in conduit bending, wiring, and running conduit.

Follow safety guidelines and ensure OSHA compliance.

Essential Skills

Experience in trade schooling or 6 months of relevant experience.

Safety-oriented with OSHA certification.

Ability to document reports accurately.

Proficiency in electrical wiring and conduit work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with conduit, EMT, pulling wire, 220V, pipe bending, and pipe laying.

Ability to set boxes and run wiring.

Work Environment

You will work at various job sites around the Buffalo, NY area, riding with electricians to different locations. The role requires wearing PPE at all times and follows a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule. The work involves commercial construction tasks primarily in Rochester.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brockport, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
