Job Summary and Qualifications:
The Marketing and Communications Director is responsible for the implementation of marketing and communications strategies to meet organizational goals, enhance the image of the Division, and support market share growth. Serves as an internal account executive to various internal clients to ensure marketing goals are met and projects are delivered in a timely manner.
The Marketing and Communications Director will assist in developing and executing all marketing and communications efforts for the Division's employed physician practices. In coordination with the Division AVP, Marketing, Division Practice Operations Teams, Division and Hospital Marketing leadership, the Marketing and Communications Director will manage and support all activities related to physician onboarding and online marketing for physicians within the network. They will also assist in developing and executing internal communications for the Division's employed physician practices.
What you will do in this role:
Leadership and Collaboration
Promotes a culture of sharing and collaboration across the Division. Acts as a resource for hospital marketing directors and PHY practice managers across Division, sharing best practices between sister facilities.
Provides monthly comprehensive updates of activities executed and value driven for each practice to Division Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Division PHY Operations and local PHY Operations.
Mentors and develops practice managers on service, experience and brand presence in the practices.
Engages formally with Physician Services leadership, Division Marketing and Corporate Affairs leadership and Hospital Directors to ensure nimble adjustments are made to the activities based on the needs and shifting dynamics for each PHY practice.
Coordinates tightly with Marketing Shared Services to ensure timely and effective delivery from that team to support campaign efforts.
Steps into hospital Communications and Community Engagement roles during times of staff transition or medical leave to ensure continuity of service for that hospital leadership team.
Executing the Marketing Strategy
Leverages marketing strategies and resources from across the company to gain efficiency, customizing as needed for each market based on service line focus, clinical strengths, community demographics, media usage, brand and tone.
Evaluates changing demographics and trends in clinic usage, service utilization, community needs, etc., and developing/adjusting strategies to meet the practice's goals.?Utilizes quantitative and qualitative research to guide marketing strategy and execution.
Understands internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations that impact the marketing environment. Ensures adherence of marketing activities and web properties to these policies.
Manages media flow charts and schedules to ensure deadlines are met and cost efficiencies are gained.
Tracks and reports campaign results and budget. Identifies and reports insights on trends, success stories and barriers to performance. Uses performance data to make adjustments as needed.
Works closely with the Group PHY Data lead to ensure marketing activities for on-and off-boarding of new and departing providers are completed timely. Provides comprehensive plans and reports on execution for all new providers to Division Marketing, Division PHY Operations and Hospital Directors and Leadership team.
New providers are fully on-boarded within 30 days of start.
Departing providers are off-boarded in accordance with requirements for patient notification.
Integrated Marketing Comms Plans
Serve as project manager of planned campaigns
Work with outside agencies and internal resources to ensure brand standards are upheld and consistent across the division.
Manages reporting metrics to clearly articulate successes and identify opportunities for change.
Creates reports and presentations to share results with key stakeholders.
Marketing Operations Support
Manage marketing budget as it relates to execution across all channels
Help manage all third-party vendor relationships (ad agency, print center, media buying agency) with an eye on building best practices and utilizing third-party capabilities to their fullest extent
Monitor ongoing expenses, process invoices, and track all marketing-related expenses.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies and procedures
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor's degree required
7+ years of experience in a related position
