Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer (Overhead Transmission Lines)

POWER Engineers is currently seeking an Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer to work in its Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department in Freeport, Maine. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.

Required Education/Experience

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university

The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel

Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite

Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship

Desired Education/Experience

Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying

Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable

Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired

Base Salary Range: $68,000-$80,000 per year
