Description

Robert Half is working with a local company to find a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in facilitating sales processes and ensuring the team has the administrative and operational support necessary to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing sales reports.

Serve as an essential point of contact between the sales team and customers, addressing inquiries and providing information in a timely manner.

Process and track sales orders, ensuring accuracy and seamless communication between departments.

Assist with preparing sales presentations, proposals, contracts, and customer-facing materials.

Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with current and accurate data.

Monitor and manage inventory levels for product samples, marketing materials, and other sales-related tools.

Support event planning efforts for trade shows, conferences, and other sales-related events.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, and finance) to ensure alignment and efficient workflows related to sales activities.

Assist in tracking, monitoring, and analyzing sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

1-3 years of experience in an administrative or sales support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

Strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, reporting, and communications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative on independent tasks.
