Key Responsibilities

This position plays a significant role in the company's manufacturing processes.

Operates production equipment

Responsible for manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products

Follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.

Maintains required records of production and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues following standard procedures.

Essential Job Functions

Perform assembly processes for making medical devices

Document activities in batch records and forms

Measure and prepare chemical solutions

Prepare assembly tooling for production

Cleaning and sterilization of medical device components

Weekly cleaning of the production area and equipment

Qualifications

BS degree in Bioengineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering preferred OR

Associates Degree or with minimum of 2 years of related work experience

Fine motor skills / manual dexterity for handling small parts

Thrive in a team environment

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and GMP documentation skills

Experience with aseptic filling and/or medical device assembly

Physical and Environmental Demands

May be required for extended times to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, or stoop.

Requires fine motor skills and dexterity. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. May be required to inspect tiny parts for extended times. Meet visual acuity (vision) screening standard for a California driver's license (20/40 with both eyes tested together) Frequently working in close quarters with others Work in laboratory and hoods where fumes may be present. Laboratory may contain toxic chemicals. PPE is required when working in the laboratory. This position requires full time work on site in Alameda, Ca.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
