The Latin American team is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to identify, develop, and support new business opportunities for our specialized audio solutions in the residential and light commercial markets. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of audio technology and a proven track record of success in sales and business development within the region and Mexico in particular.
What You'll Do:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the residential and light commercial audio markets.
Provide technical support and guidance to dealers, with a focus on large-scale and complex projects.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors and custom installation dealers.
Deliver technical training sessions to distributors and dealers, covering product innovations, core audio principles, and advanced solutions.
Partner with marketing teams to design and implement initiatives highlighting the company's technical strengths and value propositions.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote brand visibility and generate new business leads.
Gather business insights from partners to enhance market knowledge and contribute to sales forecasting.
What You'll Need:Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Audio Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in selling or designing audio solutions within Latin America, including specific experience in the Mexican market.
Strong understanding of audio sales channels, including distributors, dealers, and systems integrators.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience representing companies at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
Prior experience delivering technical training programs.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales forecasting tools.
Additional certifications in audio technologies or systems integration are a plus.

At Sonos, our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and geographical location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. All full-time employees are eligible for merit increases and discretionary bonuses as applicable. Please note that compensation details listed in US job postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits. Our base pay range for this role in our 'tier 1' US geographies is:
$114,000 and $142,900
