Job Description:

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Ship Integration &Test (SI&T) FMS ITT Site Program Manager supporting the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) activities. As a SI&T FMS ITT Site Program Manager supporting PEO IWS, you will be trusted to bring together a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation, and test of Aegis Combat Systems (ACS) onboard ships post-construction and during maintenance availabilities. In this role, you will operate as the lead for ship test planning and execution at the International Partner's designated shipyard facility.

Specific responsibilities include:

Directing and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the FMS ITT

Coordinating with International Partner counterpart and other third-party Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) combat system vendors under separate USN contracts

Coordinating and managing use of Fly-Away test teams including, but not limited to, Multi-Element Installation Teams (MEIT), specialized installation teams, and PARM / OEM test teams

Providing technical management on the installation, integration, test and evaluation of the Aegis Combat System in the International Partner designated shipyards

Specific oversight responsibilities for the FMS ITT Manager are included in FMS specific positions listed in FMS position descriptions

Coordination of engineering evolutions and integration activities

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

A Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 10+ years of ship integration and test, operations management, or related experience (or 15+ years of experience without a degree).

A US DoD Secret security clearance is required.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps Sector.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
