Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Merrillville, Indiana. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in billing and reconciliations, and supporting both accounts payable and receivable processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Process and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice verification and payment processing.

Prepare and issue accurate billing statements to clients and customers.

Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.

Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data.

Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Prepare financial reports and summaries for management as needed.

Assist in audits by providing required documentation and reports.

Benefits: 401k, medical, dental, vision

Pay: $25 -$30 per hour

Requirements - Proven experience in accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.

Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Oracle.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis.

Familiarity with billing procedures and invoice processing.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
