The Raytheon team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support our radar programs and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software (SW) Department, in Woburn, Massachusetts.
What You Will Do:
The MDS SW mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers' wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. We align to the core Agile and DevSecOps principles of collaborative operation across the entire value stream, delivering high-frequency, high-quality deployments to our customers.
Deliverables include but not limited to:
Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering build to site twice a year.
Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
A minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Experience developing software with agile methodology in a team-based environment.
Experience in software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++ or Ada.
Exposure to radar software development and/or radar concepts.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Proven experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systems

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
