Accounts Payable Specialist PPCJP00000443 A leading digital streaming network is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to assist the residuals team in resolving a backlog of check reissues. The successful candidate will focus on researching historical payment activity, validating internal records, and supporting the reissue of outstanding residual payments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an accounting background and a focus on operational cleanup and accuracy. The company offers a great work environment! Accounts Payable Specialist Pay and Benefits: Hourly pay: $23/hr Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Hybrid, Must be onsite Mondays and Tuesdays (Definite Tuesday) other days negotiable (Usually remote on Thursdays and Fridays) W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL 40 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities: Review and reconcile aged, stale-dated, or escheated checks tied to residual payments. Investigate historical transactions and supporting documentation to confirm payment accuracy. Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. Payroll and Unclaimed Property) to validate reissue payment information and resolve outstanding reissues. Enter, update, and correct payment data in internal systems (e.g., PARIS and SAP). Track progress and provide regular updates on reissue efforts. Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll, or a related finance. Experience with check reissues. Experience with systems such as PARIS, SAP, and PeopleSoft. Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits, credits, and reconciliations. Proven ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies with accuracy and efficiency. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Shift: * 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (Flexible).
