Description We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Glendale, California. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in financial auditing and SOX compliance, ensuring that all testing and evaluations meet the highest standards. This role requires over a decade of experience in auditing, with a focus on regulatory and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

Lead and execute annual SOX testing procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Conduct detailed financial audits to evaluate internal controls and operational processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks within the organization.

Prepare comprehensive audit reports, summarizing findings and recommendations for improvement.

Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout the audit process.

Provide expert guidance on improving financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal controls on an ongoing basis.

Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to maintain compliance.

Support the organization in implementing corrective actions based on audit findings. Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in auditing, with a strong focus on financial processes and SOX compliance.

Proven track record of conducting and managing complex audits in a detail-oriented environment.

Deep knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations and financial auditing standards.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating audit reports and collaborating with teams.

Prior experience with AuditBoard is preferred

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
