We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland, on a contract basis. This position involves providing comprehensive support to attorneys and office staff, including case filing, e-filing, and administrative assistance. Responsibilities:

Perform e-filing and case filing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Provide general administrative support to two attorneys and the office staff.

Handle dictation tasks, even if prior experience is not held, ensuring quality output.

Organize and manage physical files, including lifting and storing files weighing up to 50 pounds.

Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for document preparation, communication, and record-keeping.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure all legal documents are accurate and up-to-date.

Assist with scheduling and coordinating office activities as needed.

Follow office protocols, including adhering to mask requirements and vaccination preferences.

Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage physical tasks, such as lifting and organizing files up to 50 pounds.

Strong communication skills to effectively support attorneys and office staff.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, even without prior experience in dictation.

Availability to work on-site during standard office hours.

Prior experience in a law office or legal environment is a plus but not required.
