Job Overview

The Operations Program Manager for the Precision Medicine Institute collaborates with clinical and operational teams across the organization to support novel therapeutics, including gene, cellular, antisense oligonucleotide (ASO), and enzyme replacement therapies. This position focuses on ensuring effective implementation of therapeutics to and alignment with long-term goals by developing and monitoring work plans, designing performance metrics, and facilitating communication strategies across internal and external partners. A core focus of the role is ensuring the sustainability of Precision Medicine initiatives both operationally and financially. This includes identifying efficiencies, supporting data-driven decision-making, and implementing scalable solutions that strengthen long-term program viability and resource stewardship.

Department Name: Precision Medicine Admin Job Status: Full time, 40 hours per week. Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, Hybrid

Qualifications

EDUCATION - A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Business Administration or related field. EXPERIENCE - Three years of progressively responsible experience coordinating, implementing, and developing programs. EQUIVALENCY - Professional experience, beyond requirements, in a related field may substitute for a Bachelor degree requirement on a year for year basis

Responsibilities

POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE No direct patient care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. Develops, implements, manages and evaluates programs or initiatives from inception to completion in accordance with department, divisional and organizational goals and objectives. Develops short and long term plans, strategies, and goals for programs; monitors progress; assures adherence; and evaluates performance. Designs performance objectives; and implements, monitors, and adjusts programming to meet desired outcomes. Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change. Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions. Develops communication strategies; provides updates to internal and external stakeholders; and compiles data and prepares reports and presentations.
