Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00 an hour AMD Distribution is seeking a dedicated and organized Stock Clerk to join their team! Key responsibilities: Locating and Retrieving Items: Order fillers use inventory management systems and warehouse layout knowledge to find the correct products for customer orders. Packing and Preparing for Shipment: They carefully pack the retrieved items, often using shrink wrap or other protective measures, and prepare them for shipping. Updating Inventory: After retrieving items, they update the inventory system to reflect the change in stock levels. Operating Equipment: Depending on the warehouse, they may also operate equipment like forklifts or other transportation tools to move goods. General Warehouse Duties: They may also perform other general warehouse tasks, such as cleaning and organizing. Role Requirements: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Forklift certification is a plus Valid Driver's license Ability to lift 40 pounds Physical demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds regularly. The role also involves repetitive motions, such as packing and scanning items, and may require climbing ladders or operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse are expected during a typical shift.
