Description

Sara Walker with Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Wilsonville, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to refine their skills in accounting and operational support. You will play a key role in supporting financial processes, managing billing tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of records.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue supplier invoices with precision and timeliness.

Enter, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial data in QuickBooks and Excel.

Oversee billing processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accruals.

Contribute to the month-end financial close process by organizing and verifying records.

Handle freight-related billing tasks and assist in managing approximately 200 transaction files monthly.

Support inventory control efforts, including tracking and management, using systems like Fishbowl.

Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Monitor and manage complex invoices, focusing on accuracy and compliance.

Assist in maintaining organized records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, including the use of formulas.

Familiarity with inventory systems; experience with Fishbowl is highly preferred.

Exceptional organizational skills and a strong eye for detail.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
