Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Eugene, Oregon. This role involves supporting critical accounting functions and assisting with audits and reconciliations. Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Assist with a comprehensive 401k audit, utilizing Excel to analyze and organize data effectively.

Perform detailed general ledger maintenance and prepare journal entries as needed.

Support the month-end close process by reviewing and finalizing financial data.

Utilize Sage 100 software to streamline accounting processes and contribute to system upgrades.

Create and analyze pivot tables in Excel to manage and interpret financial data.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.

Collaborate with the team to address backlogged tasks and maintain smooth operations. Requirements - Proven experience in account reconciliation, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

Proficiency in Sage 100 software is highly preferred.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot table creation and data analysis.

Strong understanding of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.

Familiarity with conducting audits, particularly 401k audits.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
