Seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Lenexa!!

Aston Carter has partnered with a construction company that is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist! Our client is seeking candidates with 4-6+ years of A/P experience within a large company environment.

Job Description:

Seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for Corporate Accounting Operations. This position is responsible for executing the weekly vendor check and ACH runs, obtaining invoices from corporate departments, and accurately inputting them in the ERP system for approval and posting. The role requires an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who can work both independently and as part of a team in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

Execute the weekly vendor check and ACH runs in an accurate and timely manner

Obtain invoices from corporate departments and accurately input in the ERP system for approval and posting

Manage accounts payable with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

Respond to branch and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Possess good computer skills and demonstrate the ability to learn new computer functionality

Work well with others through all methods of communication

Prepare ad hoc reporting to management when needed

Required Skills:

4-6 years of accounts payable experience required

Experience working in AP for a company with at least $500 million in revenue required

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and V Look-Ups)

High volume invoice processing experience

Experience with multiple locations preferred

Construction industry experience preferred

Experience working in multiple systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

ESOP after 1 year of employmentEmployees are able to contribute 13% of salary to 401K20-25 days of annual PTO

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Lenexa,KS.
