Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is based in Overland Park, Kansas, and offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounts payable processes and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Process and code invoices accurately while ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Manage check runs, including preparation and distribution of payments.

Enter and verify data in financial systems with precision and efficiency.

Handle invoice processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address payment issues.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze and organize financial data.

Work within NetSuite to manage accounts payable functions effectively

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and reconciliation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial systems.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of check run processes and coding invoices.
