We are searching for the best talent for the Sr. Manager, Partnerships & External Supply position located in Titusville, NJ and Horsham, PA !
Position is responsible for base business supply of commercial Biotherapeutic drug products. Role leads Drug Product CMOs to ensure that products are available to meet customer needs, provide the highest quality at the lowest total cost of ownership, and achieve maximum relationship value through accelerated innovation, supplier integration, process improvements, and collaboration. External relationships are complex in nature and require extensive interaction with key business stakeholders, critical supplier leadership, and other segment/functional leadership. The role acts as Virtual GM for assigned relationships, providing oversight for all activities and leads Virtual management teams including Quality, MSAT, Procurement, Planning and Finance to drive high performing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Virtual General Manager with external partners and lead IMSC virtual management teams in partner management, providing oversight of all activities and financials. Establish and maintain performance metrics and targets with the goal of improving supply, processes, and systems and eliminating redundancies regarding supply, compliance, finance, and strategy.
Partner with procurement in agreement negotiations and ensure proper functional inputs. Align VMT to manage compliance to agreements, as well as overall cost management including seeking cost reduction opportunities.
Develop and manage Account Plans and manage VMT in delivering on all objectives. Define and establish priorities, requirements, expectations, results, and partner needs between IMSC functions and partners using negotiated agreements.
Shape external network & strategy, Influence and support IMSC strategy by providing input on the external landscape related to partners and CMOs.
Benchmark other J&J and partner companies and industries to identify innovations, continuous improvement, and best in class processes to support External manufacturing and business development initiatives.
Deeply understand and communicate evolving market opportunities.
Assess partners' capacity and capabilities to support IMSC sourcing decisions. Lead partner assessment and new product implementation in coordination with VMT
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum Bachelor Degree required; Graduate degree preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
A minimum 8 years of experience in general manufacturing (pharma DS or DP, biologics, or other similarly regulated industries)
Business management experience in one of the following areas ;business development, procurement, value chain management.
Demonstrated knowledge of functions including Quality, MSAT, Finance, Planning and Procurement
Understanding of end-to-end supply chain considerations and methods of driving continuous improvement
Demonstrated experience creating and working with negotiated agreements.
Preferred:
High level proficiency leading supplier relationships
High level of credibility with internal customers, and within the external manufacturing supply chain community
Strong influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints; has 'presence'
Consistent track record leading cross-functional teams
Experience in delivering step function performance improvement while managing risk
Demonstrated flexibility to respond to changes in the external and internal environments
Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and specifically Large Molecule / biologics manufacturing

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$120,000 - $207,000
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
