Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Urbana, OH

Pay Range: $36/hr plus benefits

What's the Job?

Read and interpret part drawings and aviation-related specifications.

Create and understand manufacturing work instructions.

Identify failure modes and determine Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).

Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and customers.

Identify opportunities for tooling and fixture design improvements.

What's Needed?

Experience with part and assembly drawings.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Projects, Visio, and Outlook.

Ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and feature checking gauges.

Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred.

Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is preferred along with capital equipment projects.
