SUMMARY

This position assists functions of the Foundation and Marketing Department. The position will focus on research to further develop Washington County Hospital and Clinics marketing and public relations programs.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to be successful.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)

Analyze market share data and develop reports to track trends

Design and write brochures, fliers, and other marketing materials

Assist with the website audit for accuracy, write copy, create new pages, and update as needed

Collaborate with staff on new ideas for marketing and communications

Support day-to-day proactive and reactive communication functions

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Current High School student enrolled in On the Job Training class (OJT)

Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking on initiative and working in collaboration.

Firm grasp on available tools and platforms in social media space.

Must be computer literate with working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is desired.

An effective communicator, both written and oral.
