Description We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team in Prairie View, Texas. The role primarily involves overseeing our financial activities, ensuring precise record-keeping, and providing QuickBooks Pro support. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all financial operations within the company
Utilize QuickBooks Pro for financial transactions and record-keeping
Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date
Handle customer inquiries related to financial matters
Monitor customer accounts and carry out necessary actions
Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
Maintain precise records of customer credit
Resolve any financial discrepancies promptly and professionally
Assist in the preparation of financial reports
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Requirements - A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Pro is mandatory.
In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
Proficiency in financial software.
Ability to strategize and solve problems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
CPA is a strong advantage.
