Production Workers (Entry Level)

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a production facility dedicated to producing custom office furniture for major corporations. You will be part of a collaborative environment focused on quality craftsmanship across various departments including Wood Fabrication, Wood Assembly, Steel Fabrication, and Steel Assembly.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning tasks within the production facility.

Engage in heavy lifting as required by production needs.

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

Band materials and components as part of the assembly process.

Collaborate with team members to complete general production work.

Essential Skills

Proficient in using hand and power tools for furniture assembly.

Experience in wood fabrication and assembly.

Familiarity with steel fabrication and assembly processes.

Welding skills are advantageous.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

Comfortable working in loud environments.

Capable of standing and working on feet for up to 10 hours a day.

Willingness to perform multiple duties as needed.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a large manufacturing facility, which can be loud and dusty depending on the department. You will be part of a team that includes around 100 temporary workers, contributing to a vibrant and industrious atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poulsbo, Washington

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
