Warehouse Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our Picking, Shipping, and Receiving teams in Columbia City, Indiana. This position requires a leader who can ensure productivity, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves hands-on supervision and collaboration with team members to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the activities of the picking, shipping, and receiving teams, including forklift operators, to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, received, and shipped within established timelines.

Monitor daily workflows, assign tasks, and adjust schedules to maintain operational efficiency.

Enforce warehouse safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when necessary.

Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to address operational challenges and implement improvements.

Train and mentor team members to improve performance and adherence to company standards.

Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and shipping documentation.

Identify and address any inefficiencies or issues in the workflow. Requirements - At least 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, including supervisory responsibilities.

Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced setting.

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and order-picking processes.

Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and equipment usage. TalentMatch®
