The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Tanium Engineer to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment. On this program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

Responsibilities:

The Tanium Engineer will be responsible for:

Implement and maintain Tanium infrastructure

Develop and optimize Tanium content (sensors, packages, saved questions)

Assist in patch management and software distribution processes

Perform endpoint detection and response (EDR) activities

Collaborate with other IT teams for integration and automation

Troubleshoot Tanium-related issues

Qualifications:

Required:

10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).

Current Secret security clearance

Proficiency in Tanium platform and its core modules

Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting)

Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems

Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols

Familiarity with endpoint security and management concepts

Certifications:

Tanium Certified Operator or Administrator (preferred)

Relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP) may be beneficial

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
