Job Description
Principal Accountabilities:
Be a Strategic Partner:?play a key role in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes related to global costs areas, ensuring alignment with global objectives and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.Enhance financial awareness and education within the global functions. (20%)
Global cost controlling:Lead the cost controlling for specific global costareasincludingglobal IT,Quality and Science andInnovation. Work closely with the Global IT Finance Business controller providing guidance on cost control,opportunitiesand cost optimization.Additionally liaisewith all FDB sites to ensure accuracy of the datareported. (30%)
Globalcapex project controlling and partnering: Leadthe costcontrol of global capexprojectsinitiatedby global functions, with a particular emphasis on global IT, while also encompassing other relevant global functionsasappropriate. Provide guidance and support throughout the project governance and approval process, ensuring that business casessupporting the requestare robust and underpinned by a comprehensive financial rationale. Serve as a representative of global finance on the IT portfolio board and inotherbusiness forums as needed. Ensure that global projects are accurately budgeted and accounted for at FDB sites, adhering to relevant accounting standardsand policy. (25%)
Drive Performance with Data:?Analyse financial results, spot trends, and provide insights that empower leadership to make data-driven decisions.Drive accountability to global cost owners through meaningful, transparent data, ability to self-serve, as well as providing finance business partnering to these functions.Provide transparency through reporting the total cost of global functions including local and global costs.(10%)
Tell the Story Behind the Numbers:?Prepare and present reports, business cases, and performance analyses-turning complex datainto clear, actionable insights for leadership(10%)
Process Improvement:Strive for continuous improvement supporting the enhancement of finance processes, systems and tools for great accuracy,efficiencyand compliance(5%)

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Master'sdegree in Finance or Economics required
5+ years of experience within Business Finance Partnering, FP&A or Business Controllingideally in a large global organisation
Professional Accounting Certification(e.gCPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA etc)
Ability to work effectively with multiple functional areas
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High level of attention to the detail with strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and trust across the organisation.
Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to deliver complex data in a structured and result-oriented manner
Drive change and alignment with the right problem-solving attitude.
Structured working approach that enables management of several projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem solving skills
Skilled in stakeholder management, with the confidence to collaborate with senior leaders across global functions
Although this may be a hybrid posting, the incumbent must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from one of theFDB US (California, Texas or North Carolina) locations. The US salary range for this position is $110,000 to $172,000. Pay within this range varies by worklocation?and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,?and experience.
