WONDERY is seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Analytics & Research team in Los Angeles. In this role, you'll be at the intersection of data and entertainment, powering data-driven decisions across our core businesses - from hit podcasts and premium subscriptions to groundbreaking IP development. As a key member of our team, you'll architect data solutions, deliver actionable insights, and build automated systems that drive Wondery's continued growth as a leading global podcast network. Key job responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data models, ETL processes, and analytics infrastructure to support Wondery's business needs
Develop mission-critical dashboards and reports tracking key metrics; optimize query performance and improve data infrastructure efficiency across platforms
Serve as the analytics partner for key stakeholders, conducting deep-dive analyses, supporting strategic initiatives, and delivering actionable insights to drive data-informed decision making
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to define measurement strategies, integrate new data sources, and support cross-functional projects

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
Experience with performance marketing concepts, marketing attribution models, paid media channels and DSPs, specifically in the @context of mobile acquisition
Experience with A/B and multivariate testing aimed at optimizing conversion efficacy
Experience with tag management (Google Tag Manager, Adobe DTM, Tealium, Segment) and DSP data solutions (Ads Data Hub, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Tradedesk) and mobile measurement providers (Branch, Appsflyer, Kochava)
Experience implementing or providing requirements for marketing measurement and attribution
Familiarity with statistical concepts
Self-driven, with the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
