What You Will Do:
Columbus Forge Blades is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Machining/Programming to join our Manufacturing Engineering Team.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Machining/Programming will support the business unit that produces complex airfoil components for, both military and commercial, engine programs, and implements new emerging technologies on state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Machining/Programming will lead a highly skilled technical team specializing in advanced NC programming while also supporting customer delivery, quality and cost initiatives.
Work closely with other technical mangers as well as business unit managers to ensure alignment of development programs, critical projects and production requirements.
Provide leadership and facilitate and coach team members
Implement and drive Lean manufacturing; develop and insert new technologies into the manufacturing process.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, programming or closely related industrial environment or a Master's degree and 5 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, programming or closely related industrial environment
Working knowledge of shop practices, policies and procedures governing manufacturing engineering support requirements in addition to work instruction documentation for manufacturing processes
Experience with major rotating jet engine hardware and/or airfoil machining
Experience with graphic programming, part modeling, and program simulation software (Unigraphics (NX9+), UG Mill, NREC, Vericut) as well as process modeling and process monitoring software tools.
Familiarity with various machine controllers such as, but not limited to Siemens 840D, Fanuc and Okuma OSP.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products

Qualifications We Prefer:
Prior experience within a manufacturing environment of aerospace products
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (CORE)
Supervisory experience or demonstrated experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
